The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) is gearing up for a busy week of high school sports, with events scheduled for tennis, softball, and baseball. The OVAC Tennis Championship is set to kick off on Monday, April 24th, with Boy’s Doubles at John Marshall High School, followed by Boy’s Singles on Tuesday and Girl’s Doubles on Wednesday. Girl’s Singles will round out the tennis championship on Thursday, April 27th.
Meanwhile, softball semi-final games will also take place this week, with divisions 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A all represented. Semi-final games for 1A and 2A will be held on Monday, April 24th, at the I-470 Ballparks, with games for divisions 3A, 4A, and 5A scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. On Friday, April 28th, the OVAC Tom Bechtel Softball Championship will take place at the I-470 Ballparks, followed by the OVAC Baseball Championships on Friday and Saturday, with games taking place at Toronto HS and Edison HS, respectively.
